Using Direct and Group Messaging

Using direct messaging, you can direct message (DM) any roster contact that is a TeamSnap user (someone who has accepted their invitation to the team and has installed the most recent app version), and create group messages (GM) by adding multiple recipients.

Organization commissioners can DM within teams if they have been added to the team as a roster member, and also have the ability to disable direct messaging for their organization.

Note: If a contact does not appear in the list of possible recipients, they may not have the latest app update installed on their phone or haven’t accepted their team invitation.
