Add or Remove Roster Photo

Roster members have several options for setting their roster profile photo.

Upload a New Roster Photo (web)

  1. Locate and click your name on the roster
  2. Click Edit Photo below the image placeholder to the right of your profile details
  3. Click Choose File
  4. Select desired profile photo (JPEG format recommended)
    1. There are two types of photos used in the Roster:
      1. Thumbnail photo (displayed on the Roster page). For best results, thumbnail photos should be 50 x 50 pixels. TeamSnap will automatically crop and resize uploaded images to meet these specifications.
      2. Full-size photo (displayed on the individual player page). For best results, full-size photos should be 200 x 260 pixels. TeamSnap will automatically crop and resize uploaded images to meet these specifications.

        1. Adobe Photoshop
        2. GIMP (free)
        3. Corel PaintShop Pro
  5. Click Upload Photo

Upload a New Roster Photo (Android)

  1. Log into TeamSnap on your device
  2. Select your team name to enter your team 
  3. Tap the Roster tab
  4. Locate and tap your name in the roster list
  5. Tap the pencil Edit icon in the top right of the screen
  6. Tap Choose Photo
  7. Select the photo source
  8. Take or select the photo you'd like to use
  9. Tap the checkmark Save icon in the top right of the screen

Upload a New Roster Photo (iOS)

  1. Log into TeamSnap on your device
  2. Select your team name to enter your team 
  3. Tap the Roster tab
  4. Locate and tap your name in the roster list
  5. Tap the image icon next to your profile name
  6. Tap to select the photo source (Choose Existing or Take Photo)
  7. Take or select the photo you'd like to use
  8. That's it! Your new profile photo is set

Set a Media Tab Photo as Your Roster Photo

With a click, you can easily update your personal photo on TeamSnap. 

  1. Click the Media tab 
  2. Locate the desired photo
  3. Click the photo
  4. Click the Set as my Photo button 
  5. That's it! The photo will be saved as your roster photo

Team Admins: You can choose to set any picture from the Photos section as the Team Photo with just one click by clicking the Set as Home Page Photo button.


Delete Roster Photo (web)

  1. Locate your member profile on the roster
  2. Click on your name
  3. Click Edit Photo below the image placeholder to the right of your profile
  4. Click Delete below the full-size photo to replace your uploaded photo with a generic image

Delete Roster Photo (Android)

  1. Log into TeamSnap on your device
  2. Select your team name to enter your team 
  3. Tap the Roster tab
  4. Locate and tap your name in the roster list
  5. Tap the pencil Edit icon in the top right of the screen
  6. Tap Delete Photo
  7. An image placeholder will be displayed

Delete Roster Photo (iOS)

This action is currently not available on the iOS mobile app. You will need to replace the photo by taking a new photo, selecting one from your camera roll, or logging into the web app to delete the photo.
