Manage Officiating Opportunities

This article covers the steps officials can take to manage officiating opportunities. Officials are set up by sports organization assigners in TeamSnap Scheduler or TeamSnap Tournaments and can be either assigned to specific games which can be accepted or declined or given the option to assign themselves to games open for self-assignment.

Accept or Decline Officiating Assignments

When an administrator has assigned you to a game, you will receive an email notification:

Click the Accept or Decline Game Assignments button and you will be taken to a login screen where you can either create your account or log into your existing account.

Once in your account, you will see a list of games you have been assigned to officiate, with the option to accept or decline:

Once you accept, you'll see your accepted assignments under the Upcoming Assignments section:

If your availability changes, you can go into your upcoming assignments and click Can't Make It to let the administrators know you are unavailable.

Under the Open For Self Assignment section, you'll see all the events open for self-assignment if the administrator has opened up that option. You can click View Assignment Opportunities for any game you'd like to assign yourself to.

Mobile View

To use the mobile app to manage your officiating assignments, you'll need to log in and add the event to your list by following it. Once you have done that you'll be able to see the games within that event that you are assigned to.
