Import Games in Scheduler

Before importing you'll need to make sure you have a .csv file of the schedule ready to go as well as your divisions, teams, and locations entered into TeamSnap. The import file data can be in any order when importing a file. You can use the scheduler import template or create your own CSV file. If you use your own file, you will be able to select which field in our system links to which field in your file.  

  1. Log into TeamSnap
  2. Click organization name under the My Leagues section of the dashboard
  3. Click Schedule tab
  4. Click TeamSnap Scheduler
  5. Click Create New Schedule
  6. Enter schedule description/name
  7. Select the locations to include in the schedule
  8. Click Create Schedule
  9. Select league play start date
  10. Click the Teams tab
  11. Click +Select Schedule Teams 
  12. Select the teams to include in the schedule import
  13. Click Update Schedule Teams
  14. Click the Games tab
  15. Click the Import button
  16. Click Choose File and select your import file 
  17. Select the Has Headers checkbox if your file contains column headers
  18. Click Next
  19. Map the data columns from your file to our fields
    1. For each column in your file select the column in the drop-down that your data should map to.  If we don't have one of your fields then select Ignore.
  20. Click Next
  21. Map venue import data to existing Tournaments venues in the Mapped Value drop-down 
  22. Map division import data to existing Tournaments divisions in the Mapped Value drop-down
  23. Map team import data to existing Tournaments teams in the Mapped Value drop-down
  24. Click Next once all mapping issues have been cleared
  25. Preview your import
    1. Click Back to correct any incorrectly mapped items
  26. Click Next
  27. Import will begin and you will see each item switch from Pending to Success
    1. If any errors are returned, make the appropriate changes and reimport the file
  28. Click Finished
