US Club Soccer Export for Kyck Import

Using the registration feature in TeamSnap, administrators can gather and export information from participants that can then be imported into the US Club Soccer Kyck upload tool. 

Note: If registration has not yet taken place make sure you set the required fields in your TeamSnap registration form as required following the steps in the section below in order to gather all the data required for your US Club Soccer upload.

Part 1: Set Required Fields

  1. Log into TeamSnap
  2. Enter your club or league under the My Leagues section of the Dashboard screen
  3. Click Registration tab
  4. Click Edit for the appropriate form
  5. Click Form Overview button (if not already there)
  6. Click the change link to switch all of the following fields to Required if they aren't already:
    1. Player Info
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Address
      • City
      • State/Province
      • Zip/Postal Code
      • Phone Number
      • Birthdate
      • Gender
  7. Mark any other fields as required as desired that you'd like to include

Part 2: Exporting from TeamSnap

Once registration is complete, you can export data from TeamSnap:

  1. Log into TeamSnap
  2. Enter your club or league under the My Leagues section of the Dashboard screen
  3. Click Registration tab
  4. Click Export US Club Soccer*
    1. *This export option is only available for clubs with US as the country and soccer set as the sport in their league settings
  5. Open the file that is emailed to you to double check your data includes all the fields you want to upload
    1. Currently, optional fields will not be included in the export
    2. Only completed registrations will be included, in-progress registrations will not be included
  6. Save/Export your file as a CSV

Part 3: Importing into the US Club Soccer Kyck portal

  1. Log into your US Club Soccer account at https://play.kyck.com/
  2. Select the club to import players to on your My Dashboard page
    • It is important to make sure you have club level permissions and have created the team you will be importing to 
  3. Click the Players tab
  4. Click Import Players
  5. Click BROWSE
  6. Select your CSV file for upload
  7. Click UPLOAD MY FILE
  8. Map the column data to the appropriate column headers using the drop-downs provided
    • Columns will be activated for header mapping one at a time after a selection is made
  9. Click PROCESS IMPORT
