Update From Legacy Modules To Our New TeamSnap Modules


The TeamSnap WordPress modules have been updated to increase reliability, decrease loading times, and make your overall experience easier to maintain! How does this affect you? All users currently using older modules will need to replace them with the updated modules using the step-by-step instructions below.

ATTENTION: Customers participating in the Org Admin Beta Program should go to Enable New TeamSnap Modules for Org Admin (Beta) Accounts.

Not sure if you need to update your modules? To check, open your existing modules within PageBuilder to edit. If you see "legacy" in the module name, it is an old module and will need to be replaced with the updated version:

Copy Your Organization UUID to the New TeamSnap Settings

To configure the new TeamSnap plug-in, you will need to copy and paste the Organization UUID into the corresponding fields. 

  1. Log into your Website Builder account
  2. On the dashboard, hover over Settings in the admin menu
  3. Select TeamSnap from the sub-menu
  4. Highlight and copy the organization UUID 
    1. Command + C (Mac) or Ctrl + C (Windows)
  5. Click TeamSnap Settings in the admin menu
  6. Paste the UUID into the Club UUID field (Org ID is for Org Admin Beta Program participants only)
    1. Command + V (Mac) or Ctrl + V (Windows)
  7. Click Save Changes

ATTENTION: Don't see the new TeamSnap Settings menu item? It may need to be activated by your Website Support team. You can reach out with these options. 

Replace Legacy Modules with Updated Versions

  1. Navigate to a page on your site with existing TeamSnap modules
  2. Open PageBuilder
  3. Optional: Make note of the settings within the old module to use in the updated module
  4. Remove the old module by clicking "x" on the top right
  5. Click the + button in the top right to open the PageBuilder module selection menu
  6. In the Standard Modules group, find TeamSnap Modules New
  7. Drag and drop the new modules onto your page 
  8. Configure the settings for the new module
  9. Click Done and Publish to save your updates
  10. Repeat this process for any other pages on your site with legacy modules

*All updates will need to be completed before legacy modules are retired in November 2020.
