Why does TeamSnap require Javascript?

Javascript is a programming language built into your web browser. It makes all of the fancy interactive features of TeamSnap easier to use. Most of the time Javascript will be enabled by default in your browser, but in some rare cases it may have been disabled by the person who installed your browser, or you may have disabled it yourself.

Here's how to turn on Javascript in your browser:

Google Chrome

  1. Open a window in Google Chrome
  2. Click the settings icon in the top right
  3. Click Settings
  4. Scroll to the bottom and click Advanced
  5. Click Content Settings
  6. Click Javascript
  7. Toggle Allowed (recommended) to ON

Apple Safari

  1. Click Safari in the menu bar
  2. Click Preferences
  3. Click Security
  4. Check the Enable Javascript checkbox
  5. Restart Safari

Internet Explorer

  1. Click Tools in the top menu
  2. Click Internet Options
  3. Click Security
  4. Click Custom Level
  5. Scroll to Scripting
  6. Under Active Scripting select Enable
  7. Click OK

By default, Firefox enables the use of JavaScript and requires no additional installation. There is no menu setting to disable/enable Javascript in Firefox.
