TeamSnap has two categories for email addresses on an account: Account Email and Roster Email. The same address can be used for both categories, but they can be different. These addresses are independent, so changing one and changing one does not affect the other.
The Account Email is also your username to log into your account. This email address is not visible on team accounts. This is the email address TeamSnap uses to contact you when there are billing issues on your account, or to update you on important TeamSnap news.
To view or adjust your Account Email, log on to TeamSnap through a browser (not the app) and go to Account> Account Settings> Edit> Adjust your Account Email> Save the setting.
Within each team on your TeamSnap account, the Roster record may have one or multiple email addresses. Your Roster Email address/addresses are where you will receive team communication.
The Roster Email addresses allow you to receive broadcast messages, notifications, or emails from your TeamSnap team. To change your Roster Email address, follow these steps:
- Login to the team where you need to adjust the email address
- Go to the Roster tab
- Click on your Player Name
- Update your email address
- If needed, click to Add Another Email Address
- √Save the setting
