The transaction log is a record of every transaction that was entered into the Payments system. It cannot be altered or changed, however, you can add notes to indicate what certain transactions mean.
To add a note to the Transaction Log you will first need to return to the Payments tab. Then find the payment you want to make a note for, run the cursor over the pencil to the right of the payment and click on the word “Edit” when it appears. A box will appear with a place to insert a Transaction Note at the top. Just enter your note and select “Save”.
