Embed Files in a Page on your Website

Need to embed a file in a page or post on your WordPress site? Follow the steps below:

1. Set your File to Public

2. Generate the Embed Code

3. Add the Embed Code on a Page or Post

Step 1: Set Your File To Public

1. Upload your file to Google Drive
2. Right click the file and select Preview
3. Click More Actions (the vertical ellipsis on the top right)
4. Select Share
5. Click Advanced
6. Change who has access to the file to On - Public on the web

Step 2: Generate the Embed Code

1. Go back to More Actions again while in preview
2. Select Open in new window
   
   
3.  In the new window, click on More Actions (last time, I promise!)
4.  Click Embed item...
   
5. Copy the embed code - it will start with <iframe

Step: 3 Add The Embed Code On A Page Or Post

Option 1: Embed the code on a page

1. Go to the page you are embedding the file in
2. Open PageBuilder
3. Drag and drop the HTML module under standard modules
   

   

4. Paste the embed code
5. Save
6. Publish

Option 2: embed the code in a post

1. Go to your WordPress Dashboard
2. Navigate to the post you're embedding the file in
3. Switch tabs to Text view
4. Paste code wherever you'd like in the post

   

5. Click blue Update button on the right of the post
