Android Release Notes

  • Assignments now makes it quicker and easier to assign some of your favorite and most-loved items with one click. (Assuming your most-loved item isn’t, like, ocelot shampoo.)

  • You can now include photos in group and direct messages.

  • Fixed an issue that prohibited some TeamSnap Plus subscribers from accessing their team.

  • NEW! Shortcut to quickly message all contacts for a single roster member
  • Fixed an issue where some push notifications were not actually pushing. They have been given an extra nudge.
  • Fixed an issue where a team might be untappable on the teams list. We put on our tap shoes and the issue is resolved.

  • You can now set a topic for each group chat. For example: "Coordinating goalie practice" or "Let's all chip in to buy the coach a Ferrari."
  • Members with an outdated version of the app can now be included in chats, but they will need to update their app to reply. And they might want to update their wardrobe while they're at it. I mean, that velour shirt, amirite?

Shhhh! Top secret. Support for upcoming improvements to payments and invoicing.

Bug fixes and performance enhancements.

  • Introducing group chat! Now you can message instantly with any number of people on your team, right within the app. Coordinate that carpool, tell all the coaches you’re running late, or remind the outfielders about that giant sinkhole in center field.
  • Make sure everyone on the team downloads the latest version of TeamSnap so they don’t miss out on group chats.
  • This feature is being rolled out to new teams over the next couple weeks. If you don’t have group messaging yet, keep checking back!

Fixed a crash that occurs when loading a team that has a large logo. We’re looking at you, “person that uploaded a 1 terabyte logo.”

Introducing direct messages! Now you can chat with anyone on your team directly through TeamSnap. (This feature is being rolled out to new teams over the next couple weeks. If you don't have direct chat yet, keep checking back!)

A few updates to help things run more smoothly. Basically, like vitamins for the app, but without the mixed berry flavor.

Fixed an issue with importing roster members. There was a missing checkbox. Our search-and-rescue team has located the checkbox and everything is back to normal.

HOT! Got unread chats? We've added badges to inside the app so you can see at a glance how many new messages you have. Never miss another important chat, like "Connor needs a ride to practice," or "The game has been canceled due to a caribou stampede."

  • Fixed an issue with commissioner-level messaging. No longer has issues. Feels emotionally healthy and ready to take on the world.
  • Bug fixes and performance enhancements.
  • Note: This will be the last release to support Android Lollipop (5.0-5.1.1). f you are running Android Lollipop, you will still be able to use TeamSnap; however you will not be able to download any new versions of the app after this release. Please upgrade your device to stay up-to-date on the latest versions of TeamSnap.
