Turn off team chat and direct messaging

Organization administrators have the ability to disable the team chat and direct messaging features across all the teams for their entire organization. 

Attention: If your team is not part of an organization with a TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues or TeamSnap for Business account, there is currently no option to disable team chat or direct messaging features.

  1. Click the organization name in the My Organizations section of the TeamSnap dashboard to enter your organization's site.
  2. From the Organization dashboard, select the Program you wish to disable chat and direct messaging for.
  3. Click the Settings tab on the bottom left sidebar.
  4. Click Site Prefs.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Deselect the Team Chat & Direct Messaging checkbox.

  7. Click Save.
