Manage Game Day Roster Lineup

Administrators can make adjustments to roster lineups for specific games to add additional players to the lineup, reorder the lineup, and more.

Note: This feature is currently available on our iOS and Android mobile apps to administrators for teams on our Premium or Ultra plans. Not available on the web app.

Edit or Delete Game Day Roster Lineup (iOS)

  1. Open the TeamSnap app.
  2. Tap the team name.
  3. Tap the Schedule tab.
  4. Tap the desired game.
  5. Tap the Lineup section.
  6. Tap Edit.
  7. Optional: Tap Add Players to add players to the lineup.
    1. Tap to select desired players to be added.
    2. Tap Next.
  8. Optional: Drag-and-drop to reorder players.
  9. Optional: Tap the +Position link below a player's name to assign the player lineup positions.
    1. Tap the desired position to assign it to the player.
    2. Optional: Tap the Add New Position field to add a custom position.
      1. Special characters (#, &, *,  $, etc) are not supported and will cause an error if used
      2. Enter position name and tap Save
      3. Optional: Slide custom positions to the left to delete
  10. Optional: Remove players by tapping the red minus icon and tap Delete to confirm.
  11. Optional: Tap Delete at the bottom of the lineup list to delete the entire lineup.
  12. Tap Save when finished.
  13. Tap desired option for whether to notify team of changes.

  1. Open the TeamSnap app.
  2. Tap the team name.
  3. Tap the Schedule tab.
  4. Tap the desired game.
  5. Tap the Lineup section.
  6. Optional: Tap the orange + icon to add players to the lineup.
    1. Tap to select desired players to be added.
    2. Tap Next.
  7. Optional: Drag-and-drop to reorder players.
  8. Optional: Tap the +Position link below a player's name to assign the player lineup positions.
    1. Tap the desired position to assign it to the player.
    2. Optional: Tap the New Position field to add a custom position.
      1. Special characters (#, &, *,  $, etc) are not supported and will cause an error if used
      2. Enter position name and tap the + icon to save.
      3. Optional: Slide custom positions to the left to delete
  9. Optional: Remove players by sliding the player name to the left OR by tapping the player name, then the trash icon and tap Remove to confirm.
  10. Optional: Tap the trash icon to delete the entire lineup.
  11. Tap the save checkmark when finished.
  12. Tap desired option for whether to notify team of changes.
