Setting up divisions

Attention: This article is for organization administrators on TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues and TeamSnap for Business. Check your version at the bottom of your organization screen.

Manually Add Divisions 

This is optional for TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues organizations that would like to set up divisions and/or subdivisions. For TeamSnap for Business, this step is only necessary if you have opted out of the automatic division creation process that is enabled by applying attributes to your programs or if you need to create divisions in addition to those automatically created by the system.

  1. Access your organization.
    1. Steps for TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues:
      1. Log into your account at go.teamsnap.com.
      2. Click the organization name under the My Organizations section of your TeamSnap dashboard.
      3. Click the Divisions tab.
    2. Steps for TeamSnap for Business:
      1. Log into your account at organization.teamsnap.com.
      2. Click Programs.

      3. Click the destination program.
      4. Click the season you are creating the divisions for.
  2. Click Add Divisions.
  3. Enter the division name.
  4. Click Save and Create Another to continue adding divisions.
  5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to add multiple divisions.
  6. Click Save when finished adding divisions.

TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues: Add Subdivisions (optional)

Subdivisions are not applicable to those on TeamSnap for Business.

  1. Log into your account at go.teamsnap.com.
  2. Click the organization name under the My Organizations section of your TeamSnap dashboard.
  3. Click the Divisions tab.
  4. Click the division where subdivisions will be added.
  5. Click Add Divisions.
  6. Enter the subdivision name.
  7. Click Save and Create Another to continue adding subdivisions.
  8. Repeat steps 3 & 4 to add multiple subdivisions.
  9. Click Save when finished adding subdivisions.
