Fixing page formatting issues in Website Builder

This issue is typically caused by switching to Text Editor View and entering content into the text editor while editing a page instead of using Page Builder.

Warning: Whenever Page Builder is disabled and text editor content is added, you run the risk of adding content that is incompatible with Page Builder, which can completely disable your ability to edit that page and may require you to recreate the page from scratch. As a general rule, it is best practice to use the text editor for Posts and Page Builder for Pages.

Troubleshooting

Fix 1

  1. Click Pages in the WordPress admin menu
  2. Hover over the page name
  3. Click Page Builder
  4. Click Done
  5. Click Publish

Fix 2

  1. Click Pages in the WordPress admin menu
  2. Hover over the page name 
  3. Click Edit
  4. Click the Page Builder tab
  5. Click Done
  6. Click Publish

Fix 3

  1. Log into Website Builder
  2. Click your site name in the top bar to View your site
  3. Go to the desired page
  4. Click Page Builder in the toolbar
  5. Click Done
  6. Click Publish
