Resolving the "403 Error" When Sending Emails and Alerts
TeamSnap requires you to verify your email address once a year to help keep your account secure. If it has been more than a year since you last verified your email address, you may see a 403 Error when trying to send an email or alert to your team.
The good news is that this is easy to fix! You just need to verify your email address again to restore your ability to send messages.
How to Re-Verify Your Email Address
Follow the steps below to verify your email address and resolve the error.
- Log in to TeamSnap on the web. Open TeamSnap in your web browser and sign in to your account. Then, select the team you want to send a message to.
- Once in your team view, select the Messages tab in your team's navigation menu, then select the Emails tab.
- Resend the verification email. Look for a banner at the top of the screen that says Verify your email. Select Resend to have TeamSnap send you a new verification email.
-
Check your email inbox. Open the inbox for the email address associated with your TeamSnap account. Look for an email from donotreply@email.teamsnap.com with the subject line Verify your TeamSnap Account.
Don't see the email? Check your spam or junk folder. It may take a few minutes to arrive.
- Verify your email address. Open the verification email and select the blue Verify account button.
- Confirm your verification was successful. After selecting the button, you'll be redirected to a confirmation screen indicating that your email address has been verified successfully.
- Return to your team. Select Continue to team on the confirmation screen to return to your TeamSnap dashboard.

You're All Set!
Once you've successfully verified your email address, the 403 error should be resolved, and you can resume sending emails and alerts to your team.
