Registration Set Up: Hockey Canada

If you have a TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues account, you can verify registrant membership with Hockey Canada within your registration form, and ensure that those with expired or soon-to-be-expired memberships will be prompted to update them with Hockey Canada.

Hockey Canada Form Setup

1. Log into TeamSnap
2. Enter your club or league under the My Leagues section of the Dashboard screen
3. Click the Registration tab
4. Create a new form OR skip to step 5 to edit an existing form
   1. Click Create Your First Registration Form or +New Registration Form
   2. Name your form
   3. Select Hockey Canada Membership 
   4. Select the season registration year (e.g. if it is the 2020-2021 season, choose 2020.) 
   5. Click Save
5. Edit an existing form (skip this step if you are using the template from step 4)
   1. Hover over the ... Admin button for the desired form
   2. Click Edit
   3. Click Verify Membership button
   4. Check the Status checkbox
   5. Enter Registration Year
6. Click Save

Your registrants will see the membership field on the form during registration in the Participant Info section where they can enter their HCR# (Hockey Canada registration number). For those who need to update their membership, they will not be able to complete registration until that is done.
