Export for Little League Import

Using the registration feature in TeamSnap, administrators can gather and export information from participants that can then be imported into your Little League upload tool. 

Part 1: Set Required Fields

1. Log into TeamSnap
2. Enter your club or league under the My Leagues section of the Dashboard screen
3. Click Registration tab
4. Click Edit for the appropriate form
5. Click Form Overview button (if not already there)
6. Click the change link to switch all of the following fields to Required if they aren't already:
   1. Player Info
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Address
      • City
      • State/Province
      • Zip/Postal Code
      • Phone Number
      • Birthdate
7. Mark any other fields as required as desired that you'd like to include
8. Click Form Fields 
9. Click +Add New Field 
10. Enter custom field name: Role
11. Select the section of the form where you would like it to be displayed
12. Select the Menu field type
13. Menu option: B, G, C, M, V
14. Optional tooltip/help text: P=Player, C=Coach, M=Manager, V=Volunteer
15. Skip validation selection
16. Check all that apply
17. Click Save

Part 2: Exporting from TeamSnap and Matching Little League Requirements

Once registration is complete, you can export data from TeamSnap:

1. Log into TeamSnap
2. Enter your club or league under the My Leagues section of the Dashboard screen
3. Click Members tab
4. Click Export Members
5. Open the file that is emailed to you to double check your data includes all the fields you want to upload
6. Ensure any of the optional fields listed below that you'd like to include follow the data requirements here:
   1. Division (values must be between 11-19, 21-27, or 31-37)
      • Division codes:

        11 = Baseball Tball 12 = Baseball Minors 13 = Baseball Majors 14 = Intermediate Division (50/70) 15 = Baseball Senior 16 = Baseball Big League 17 = Baseball Junior 18 = Challenger Division

        21 = Girls Softball Tball 22 = Girls Softball Minors 23 = Girls Softball Majors 25 = Girls Softball Senior 26 = Girls Softball Big League 27 = Girls Softball Junior

        31 = Boys Softball Tball 32 = Boys Softball Minors 33 = Boys Softball Majors 35 = Boys Softball Senior 36 = Boys Softball Big League 37 = Boys Softball Junior

   2. Country (value should be US for United States)
7. Save/Export your file as an Excel file

Part 3: Import into the Little League System

You should be all set to import your file to Little League.
