Cancel or Delete Games and Events
Cancel a Game or Event (Web)
- Click the Schedule tab
- Click the Edit button next to the game or event you would like to edit
- Select the Show this event as canceled on the schedule checkbox
- Optional: Add reason or alternate plans to the Notes section
- Optional: Select the checkbox to Notify your team and send an email and push notification (if enabled on the mobile app) with the cancellation
- Click Save
Cancel a Game or Event (Mobile)
- Tap the Schedule tab
- Tap the desired game or event
- Tap Edit (iOS) or the 3 dot menu and select Edit (Android)
- Toggle Canceled to ON
- Optional: Toggle ON (iOS) or select the checkbox (Android) to Notify Team at the top of the screen to send an email and push notification (if enabled on the mobile app) with the cancellation
- Tap Save (iOS) or the checkmark (Android)
Delete a Game or Event (Web)
Warning: Game and event deletions are permanent and irreversible.
- Click the Schedule tab
- Click the Delete button next to the game or event you would like to remove
- Optional: Select the NOTIFY THE TEAM? checkbox
- Click Delete to confirm
Delete a Game or Event (Mobile)
- Tap the Schedule tab
- Tap the desired game or event
- Tap Edit (iOS) or the 3 dot menu and select Delete (Android - skip to step 5)
- iOS: Tap Delete at the bottom of your screen
- Tap Delete and notify team or Delete but don't notify team (iOS) or DELETE (Android) to confirm the deletion
Cancel Organization Events
You can cancel any manually created club/league event by navigating to the schedule tab where it was created.
- Log into TeamSnap
- Click organization name under the My Leagues section of the dashboard
- Click Schedule tab OR navigate to the division where the event was created and click Schedule tab
- Hover over Admin button to the far right of the event in the schedule list
- Click Edit Event
- Select the Canceled checkbox under Optional Event Info
- Note: a push notification and email will be sent to members
- Click Save
