What are Badge Notifications?

Badge notifications are small red numbers displayed when you have new or unread alert messages and/or team chat messages on our iOS platform of TeamSnap.

Where will I see Badge Notifications?

Badge notifications are displayed as small, red numbers on the outer face of the app.

Inside the TeamSnap app, badge notifications are displayed in four different places:

On the My Teams landing page next to the team that has been notified
Inside a team, on the bottom toolbar on the Messages icon
Under the Messages tab on Team Chat
Under the Messages tab on Alerts

How do I Dismiss Badge Notifications in the App?

Dismiss Alert iOS Badge Notifications

Log on to the TeamSnap app
From the My Teams page, select the team with the notifications
Go to the Messages tab
Go to the Alerts tab
Active alerts are indicated by an orange dot to the far left of the entry
Click on the active alert(s) to clear the badge notification(s)

Note: If clearing the alert(s) does not clear all of the badges, please toggle to your other profile on the team and follow the above steps to remove the additional badge notifications.

Dismiss Team Chat iOS Badge Notifications

Log on to the TeamSnap app
From the My Teams page, select the team with the notifications
Go to the Messages tab
Go to the Team Chat tab
Once the Team Chat tab is opened, all badge notifications for current chats will disappear

How do I Turn Off iOS Badge Notifications?

Go to your iPhone's Settings app
Scroll to TeamSnap
Click the Notifications tab
Toggle off the Badges option
Navigate away from the tab
