Plan pricing change FAQs
Pricing for all team plans will increase on March 1, 2023. The new pricing will be reflected in your March billing, or for those on annual plans, on whichever month your plan bills after March 1st. This adjustment helps us ensure we can deliver even more value for your TeamSnap membership through product enhancements and new feature development. Why are prices being increased?
We want to continue improving our product by bringing you new and enhanced application features. TeamSnap plan pricing has stayed the same since 2018, and while we understand that this is an impactful change, we have made every effort to keep the increase to a minimum while still ensuring our ability to provide the best app experience to our customers.
When will the increase take effect?
Prices are set to be in effect on March 1, 2023. If you currently have a monthly plan, the increase will be reflected in your March billing. If you have an annual plan, you will see the change reflected in your next billing month.
If I switch to an annual plan, will rates be lower?
Annual subscriptions always come with cost savings. If you switch before February 2023, you will pay the current annual rate, with the increase effective in your 2024 billing.
How can I keep my current rates?
For ease of service and management, no previous pricing plans will be retained. The new rates will be applied to all teams. We recommend reviewing our plan options to ensure that you are on the plan that best fits your team's needs. For those actively using their team plan for more than 6-7 months, we recommend choosing the annual plan option to take advantage of cost savings.
Am I able to keep my previously grandfathered plan?
Previous pricing plans will all be retired as part of this change in order to keep our operating costs related to plan service and management low. We understand that price increases can be hard on a budget, so we encourage you to review your team's needs and ensure you have the most fitting plan in place. If you actively utilize your team plan for more than 6-7 months, we recommend choosing the annual plan option to take advantage of cost savings.
Are there any discounts available if I can't afford the higher rate?
We work diligently to keep costs as low as possible, we do not offer discounted rates. However, there are cost savings when choosing an annual plan option over paying monthly.
What if I want to change my plan?
No problem, you can easily change your plan.
How can I cancel my plan subscription?
There are two options to cancel your subscription, depending on what you want to do with the team the plan is tied to. If you would like to use your team again in the future, you can switch to the free plan to maintain your team without being on a paid plan.
If you will not be using the team ever again, you can retire the team. Please be aware that this is a permanent action, so if you have any doubts we recommend switching to the free plan to keep the team intact.
