How do I turn on Registration Protection and Accident Insurance?

All new registration forms for eligible sports will have Registration Protection and Accident Insurance defaulted to on.

Any forms created before this release will remain toggled off. If you copy an existing form, it will toggle Registration Protection and Accident Insurance on.

If someone has multiple participants or registrations in their cart, how does the Registration Protection and Accident Insurance apply to each registration? Registration Protection and Accident Insurance is available to be selected by each unique participant and registration option.
How are the Registration Protection and Accident Insurance fees charged during checkout?

How do these fees appear on registration reports? All add-on fees are currently excluded from registration reports.
Is Registration Protection and Accident Insurance available for all sports? Are any sports excluded? Some sports are excluded from gap medical coverage. You can view all eligible sports here.
Where is Registration Protection and Accident Insurance available? Registration Protection and Accident Insurance is currently available for US-based organizations only.
I'm in the US, and Registration Protection and Accident Insurance does not appear to be available. What could be causing this?

A few things:

  • The participant address has not been collected; please confirm participant address is a required field.
  • The participant is located in an excluded state (NY, SD, MD).
Is Registration Protection and Accident Insurance available for non-sports related registrations? Yes.
Is Registration Protection and Accident Insurance available for registrations where no registration fees are collected? No.
Is Registration Protection and Accident Insurance available for cash or offline payments? No.
Can I turn Registration Protection and Accident Insurance off universally for all registration forms created within my Organization? Not at this time; you'l want to toggle Registration Protection and Accident Insurance off during your individual form set-up.
