Set Up Team Statistics

Are you all about those stats, 'bout those stats, no guesses? Well if your team is on our Premium or Ultra plans, you can use the statistics feature for all your data needs. Check out Manage Team Billing and Plans to upgrade to a paid plan.

Note: Statistics can be managed by team administrators (owner/manager) from a web or mobile browser. This feature is currently read-only in mobile apps.

Statistics Tab Initial Setup

Note: This can only be done on the web or mobile browser, not the mobile apps.
  1. Log into TeamSnap.com on the web or mobile browser
  2. Enter your team from the TeamSnap Dashboard
  3. Click the Statistics tab
  4. Click the preferred option for starting your Statistics tab
    1. Use the [sport] Preset: Depending upon the sport, the system may offer the option to use a pre-configured standard set of stats. Available presets:
      1. Basketball, Soccer, Softball, Volleyball, Football, Cricket, Rugby, Lacross, Ice Hockey, Inline Hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, Indoor Soccer, Golf, Ringlette, Gymnastics - Men, Gymnastics - Women, Track And Field, Slo-pitch, Wheelchair Basketball.
    2. Import From Another Team: Option to copy statistics set-up from another team you own
    3. Start with a Blank Slate: Opens the tab with no statistics set up, allowing you to configure the statistics for your team

Create a New Statistic

Note: This can only be done on the web or mobile browser, not the mobile apps.
  1. Log into TeamSnap.com on the web or mobile browser
  2. Click your team name in the My Teams section of your TeamSnap Dashboard
  3. Click the Statistics tab
  4. Click Manage Stats
  5. Click New Statistic
  6. On the New Statistic screen, complete the details
    1. Full Name of Statistic
    2. Acronym for Statistic
    3. Formula (optional)
    4. Stat Group (optional): After first stat group is created, click  the drop-down  menu and New Stat Group to create new stat group 
    5. Precision
    6. Rounding
    7. Percentage
    8. Show Zero
    9. Stat Ranking
    10. Top Stat
    11. Private Stat: Check this box to make the statistic hidden from players and only viewable by managers 
    12. Team Stat: Check this box to make the statistic applicable to the team as a whole, rather than to individual members
  7. Click Save and Create Another to create another stat, or Save when you are finished creating stats
