Financial Notifications for Organizations
TeamSnap sends notifications for certain online payments. This guide outlines when those notifications are sent and who receives them.

Organization Registration
Organization registrations can include online payments via credit card or ACH (direct from bank payments, which are available to organizations processing payments in USD.)
Automatic notifications are generated for these events:
- Online payment method at checkout (applicable to TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues only)
- Failed Online Payment on Completed Registration - when a post-checkout installment or ACH payment fails to process. (Applicable to TeamSnap for Clubs and Leagues only)
- Submission of online refund
Automatic notifications are sent to:
- TO: The registrant's login email address
- BCC: The organization owner's first email address on their member profile
Organization Invoicing
Organization invoices can include online credit card payments.
Automatic notifications are generated for these events:
- Online payment method at checkout
- Failed Payment on Active Installment Plan (When a post-checkout installment fails to process)
- Submission of online refund
Automatic notifications are sent to:
- TO: Payer email address
- BCC: The organization owner's first email address on their member profile
How Do I Change Who Receives Notifications?
The email address that is BCCd on automatic payment notifications is the organization owner's first-listed email address on their member profile. If you want to change this address or stop receiving payment communications, we recommend considering one of the three options below.
Option 1: Filter the Emails
Set up an email filter in your personal email account so that payment notifications are automatically filed in a separate folder. See the below links for instructions on how to do this in popular email providers.
Option 2: Change Organization Owner's Email Address
If you change the first-listed email address on the organization owner's member profile, you will change the BCCd email for registration receipts as well as the owner's default email for receiving communications and emailed exports like the Roster List. To find the owner's member profile, go to the Members tab, and look for the Commissioner profile with the "League Owner" label.

Option 3: Transfer Ownership to a Placeholder Owner Account
If you would like to transfer organization ownership to a brand new account, you could create a new email address for administrative emails (through your email provider of choice), use your organization permissions to grant that email Commissioner access, and then transfer ownership to that email login, so that you have a secondary admin-only login and owner profile that would receive the receipt BCCs from now on.

Common Questions
Can I Stop Notifications Completely?
Automatic notifications can not be stopped at this time.
Can I BCC Multiple Email Addresses?
Only the owner's first-listed email address is BCCd on automatic payments notifications. There isn't a way to BCC more than one email address at this time.
